The project schedule consists of four (4) major phases. The Planning Phase concluded in April 2016 with the completion of the Masterplan, which is available on the library/project documents page. The Masterplan outlines the concepts and ideas that are being evaluated as part of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Phase, the second phase of the project, which is expected to completed in Winter of 2017. During the NEPA Phase, preliminary design concepts for the proposed improvements are being explored, which will be more fully developed as part of the Design/Right-of-Way Phase which will be underway in late 2017. The Design Phase will likely take several years to complete. Depending on the funding for the project and schedule coordination with other transportation projects in the area, the Construction Phase is anticipated to commence in 2020 (at the earliest).

Public and Stakeholder outreach and engagement opportunities will occur throughout all phases of the project.
